Our Email Prescription Service will cease 27th October. After this date we will no longer be accepting email prescription requests.
Patients will be required to register for On-Line services where they are able to order medication direct via a secure link in to our clinical system on our website.
By registering for on line services patients are able to make and cancel their appointments with the doctor, order medication, see their read coded medical record and submit amendments to the personal details such as address, contact telephone number and email address.
We have taken this decision as:
- On-Line registration gives patients a better service
- We are experiencing an increase in the number of email requests This has significantly increased the time and cost of printing and destroying the data
- BMA and NHS England have made a joint commitment to encourage practices to register a minimum of 20 per cent of their patients for at least one online service by 31 March 2018.
- You will need to attend the practice in person with photo ID to register
Either request your medication on line: https://SystmOnline.tpp-uk.com
Using on line access you can view a list of the medication you have been prescribed. Select the prescription you need and click the request medication button. Please allow 2 working days and collect your prescription after 2pm.
Or via email request (until 27th October):
Wood Street Patients: firstname.lastname@example.org
Rivermead Gate Patients: email@example.com
Please include your name, address, date of birth and details of your medication
You can also use your local pharmacist service to place your order and by choosing a preferred pharmacy your medication can be sent electronically (ETP) to them ready for you to collect.
Some items are not prescribed by GPs. Patients are advise patients to purchase these over the counter from a local pharmacist.
Information on medication purchased over the counter is available from: http://midessexccg.nhs.uk/your-health-services/
