To book on line

The on line function allows you to book and cancel appointments. You will need to come to the surgery with your identification i.e. driving license or passport. You will be given a unique user name and password. When you log on for the first time you will be prompted to change the password to one of your own choice.

To make an appointment by telephone call 01245 348688 from 8am onwards or call in to the Medical Centre Monday to Friday.

Most surgery sessions have appointments which may be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. The rest of the appointments are booked on the day. This helps to keep the rate of non-attended appointments to a minimum. You may see any of the doctors or our nurse practitioner but it is recommended that you endeavor to see the same person for ongoing problems to ensure continuity of care.  If you provide your mobile telephone number you will receive an SMS test message to confirm your appointment.

You may have to wait longer to see a preferred doctor when booking an appointment. If you have an urgent medical problem and the surgery is fully booked you will either be seen by the nurse practitioner or a doctor at the end of the morning session that day. Under these circumstances the receptionist may ask for brief details of your condition so that your need can be assessed.

Appointments with the doctor and all of our other clinical staff are always in short supply so please let us know, giving as much notice as possible, if you are unable to attend. We can then offer the time to someone else.
